2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Platform Description

NeedHelp Platform connects individuals seeking assistance ("Seekers") with individuals offering assistance ("Helpers"). We do not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and current information
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Harass, exploit, or harm others
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to bypass platform security or safeguards
• Use the platform for illegal or unethical activities

6. AI & Automated Tools

The Platform uses AI tools for matching, moderation, safety checks, and platform improvement. AI outputs are provided for assistance only and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.

7. Payments & Fees

Some features may require payment or a subscription. Any fee, including any fee on wallet withdrawals, is shown before you confirm a transaction. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act where it applies. Payment processors operate under their own terms.

NeedHelp Platform is not a registered charity and cannot issue tax receipts. Requests are not independently verified. Any money or goods you give to another user are given at your own risk, and NeedHelp Platform is not responsible for how they are used.

Supporter subscriptions. Supporter plans (Community Supporter, Partner and Champion) are billed monthly in advance in Canadian dollars through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by emailing support@needhelpplatform.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again. We do not refund partial months except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your plan. Supporter benefits (such as name or logo listings, social posts and impact reports) are provided as described on our Supporters page. Supporter subscriptions are business purchases, not charitable donations, and no tax receipts are issued. Our Supporter Terms also apply to Supporter and Founding Supporter subscriptions.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties regarding reliability, safety, or suitability of helpers or assistance received.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeedHelp Platform shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeedHelp Platform from claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for safety reasons.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree that the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the platform.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of changes.

NeedHelp Platform is operated by Muavecore Group Inc., 2 Dundas Street West, Belleville, Ontario K8P 1A1, Canada. To ask a question or report a request, comment or user that breaks these Terms or our Community Guidelines, email support@needhelpplatform.com with a link to the content. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
